Taiwanese BBQ  Shacha sauce

Shacha sauce is a Taiwanese condiment for stir-fry and hot pot dipping sauce. My homemade version is easy and tastes fresher and healthier.

Let’s get started!

Start the pan & oil cold

Add avocado oil with garlic, ginger, and shallot over low heat.

Add spices

Add in more spices with dried shrimp powder, shredded coconut flakes, salt, pepper.

Add more seasonings

Season with coconut aminos, sesame oil to add more flavor.

Low heat simmer

Simmer the spices over low heat for 15-20 minutes and the sauce is ready!
