How to make hibachi vegetables

Hibachi vegetables are a Japanese steakhouse staple bursting with buttery garlic flavor. Make delicious teppanyaki veggies at home easily!

Onions

Make three even cuts resulting in four equal segments of onion rings. Lay each segment flat and cut it into quarters.

Zucchini

Slice it into half at width, then slice it lengthwise into 4 equal-sized slices. Finally, cut each slice lengthwise into matchsticks.

To cook

Add oil and garlic to a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add carrots, broccoli, and a pinch of salt. Cover and steam for 1 minute.

Combine

Add mushrooms, zucchini, and oil then add the sauce and butter. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish before serving the dish hot.
