This beef wonton recipe is made with tender beef and pan fried to crisp at the bottom and tender juicy after steaming. Serve w/ wonton sauce.
Let’s get started!
Add warm water to green onions, star anise, Sichuan peppercorns, and ginger. Squeeze and massage the aromatics to infuse then strain.
Combine ground beef with egg white. Gradually add the flavored water, stirring in one direction. Then, mix in soy sauces, oyster sauce, salt, pepper, and oil.
Fold the wontons into a star shape. Pan-sear until crispy then add a bit of water to steam for about 3 minutes until the filling is cooked.
